Bronchitis is an inflammation of the airways that leads to increased mucus production, which makes you cough a lot.

Consult a doctor if your child:

has symptoms of bronchitis with a fever that lasts longer than 3 days
has difficulty breathing
has rapid breathing and retractions at the ribs
is unable to drink properly due to difficulty breathing
