All about your admission

You are going to be admitted to our hospital in the near future. We think it is important to inform you as best we can. The sections below will help you to prepare for your admission and to find out how the hospital works.

Preparing your admission

Good preparation helps reduce stress on the day of your admission.

For example, contact your health insurance fund in good time. If you are undergoing surgery, it is best to come for a preoperative consultation at least 3 days in advance.

Day of your admission

On the day of your admission, report to the admissions department at the agreed time.

What you should bring depends on the type of admission.

Your stay in the hospital

We do everything we can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. In some departments, you can choose your own meal with C-Meal, for example.

We do ask you to respect the hospital rules, including those regarding smoking.

End of your admission

Na sommige operaties kan je ook thuis opgevolgd worden via zorg op afstand: professionele opvolging, in je eigen vertrouwde omgeving.

When your doctor decides that you can return home, you will receive a discharge letter, a medical report and a medication list.

Do you need home care or transport? It is best to arrange this in advance. Our social service or patient counseling team will be happy to assist you.

After certain operations, you can also be monitored at home via remote care: professional follow-up in your own familiar environment.
