Radiology of the skull

For some diseases or operations, it is important that not only the teeth are pictured, but the oral surgeon also needs to get a good picture of the bones that make up your face and skull (e.g. in case of bone fractures or planned jaw corrections).

One or more radiographs of the head and face may be taken. If necessary, these are supplemented with conventional X-rays of your teeth or a scan of your teeth and jaw.
