The hematology department deals with benign and malignant disorders of the blood, bone marrow, and lymph nodes:

Anemia, thrombocytopenia, leukopenia (deficiencies of red blood cells, platelets, and white blood cells)

Myelomas and other plasma cell disorders
Chronic myeloid and lymphocytic leukemia (CML and CLL)
Acute myeloid and lymphocytic leukemia (AML and ALL)
Myeloproliferative syndromes (polycythemia vera, essential thrombocytosis, myelofibrosis)
