Oncology day hospital

This is a nursing ward where anti-cancer medicines, such as chemotherapy, are administered, possibly in combination with other drugs specifically aimed at the tumour cell.
Blood transfusions, bone enhancers Zometa®, Aredia®, Sandoglobulins®, or other medications are also administered in day therapy.
Patients who have to undergo certain examinations are also treated at this department.
