Jan Yperman Hospital and AZ Delta have decided to further develop the cardiac pathology care programme together. For this purpose, an association agreement has been established and recognised whereby a Cathlab service was started at the Jan Yperman Hospital, of which AZ Delta is the parent centre.
Patients for a coronarography (B1 certification) and a percutaneous coronary intervention (B2 certification) can be treated at the Jan Yperman Hospital.
These are patients whose heart needs to be examined by a cardiologist, for example:
At AZ Delta only care programme cardiac surgery (B3 certification) and care programme electrophysiology (E certification) are performed.
