Department D5 includes the stroke unit. Patients with a stroke are treated here. A stroke is a sudden disruption of blood flow in the brain, resulting in a loss of brain function (e.g. cerebral infarction or stroke).
First floor north wing - rooms 670 - 687
The department also has specially equipped rooms for sleep studies led by our sleep coordinator Lucy Loridan and rooms for hospitalisation of patients with various neurological disorders (Parkinson's disease, MS, epilepsy, brain injury, meningitis...).
Please note that room 682 has limited visiting hours: 2 visitors allowed between 3 p.m. and 3.30 p.m and between 7 p.m. and 7.30 p.m.
