Palliative unit (nursing department)

Palliatieve

The palliative unit is a hospital ward reserved especially for people who can no longer be cured. It is a small, homely ward, where the medical and nursing care is geared towards the highest possible level of comfort.

Not only oncology patients are admitted here, but also people with other incurable diseases. However, the palliative unit is not a chronic care unit.
