Allergic rhinitis is an allergic reaction in the nose. This reaction can be caused by a variety of allergens, including house dust mites, grass pollen, tree pollen, animal epithelium and moulds.

There are two types of symptoms of allergic rhinitis:

  • Runny: These patients mainly suffer from watery nasal discharge, sneezing and sometimes itchy, watery eyes.
  • Stuffy: These patients mainly suffer from nasal congestion and sometimes nasal discharge.
