Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) is a disorder of the motor nerves that run from the spinal cord to the muscles and the sensory nerves that run from the skin, joints and muscles to the spinal cord.
The onset of GBS is usually quite sudden. It is easily treated. Your doctor will discuss the possible treatment with you.
