The possible symptoms of hepatitis are fever, loss of appetite, fatigue, dark urine, pale stools, yellow skin and/or eyes.
Hepatitis can be detected by a blood test. Hepatitis A never becomes chronic, while Hepatitis B and C can become chronic and cause liver cirrhosis or liver cancer in the long term. Vaccines exist against hepatitis A and B, but not against hepatitis C.
