For your safety, please do not smoke, eat or drink after midnight (at least 6 hours before surgery). Your stomach should be empty before the surgery. Not fasting leads to a postponement of the procedure.
In addition, rings, jewellery and piercings must be removed beforehand. False teeth, glasses, contact lenses and hearing aids should also be left in the room.
