The Gynaecology and Obstetrics department specialises in the treatment of disorders affecting women. Our gynaecologists accompany future mothers during the pregnancy and the childbirth.

The gynaecology department consists of 9 gynaecologists who all practice general obstetrics. In addition, each gynaecologist specialises in a particular sub-discipline:

dr. Bauters: urogynaecology
dr. Brouckaert: senology, pelvic oncology
dr. Deblaere: obstetric ultrasound
dr. Rossey: senology
dr. Quintelier: prenatal ultrasound and diagnostics, laparoscopy and breast surgery
dr. Van Deynse: menopause, colposcopy
dr. Vandenameele: obstetric ultrasound
dr. Vanderbeke: fertility
dr. Vryens: senology
