Hearing aids

A hearing aid is an electronic amplifier of sound for the purpose of better hearing and better speech understanding.

A hearing aid consists of a microphone, an amplifier and a speaker. In consultation with the audiologist at the hearing centre, an appropriate solution is sought for the situations in which discomfort was experienced. The type of device depends on the living conditions and wishes of the hearing impaired person. There is a trial period during which the patient can test the hearing aids and only needs to purchase it if satisfied.
