The collective auto-dialysis department at az West was set up in cooperation with the dialysis centres of Jan Yperman Hospital and AZ Delta.
Since 2014, patients can also consult the nephrologists of the Jan Yperman Hospital (Ypres) and AZ Delta (Roeselare) for outpatient nephrology care in az West.
This cooperation aims to offer nephrology consultations closer to home, so patients no longer have to travel to Ypres or Roeselare. Inclusion in the Chronic Renal Insufficiency care pathway is also offered.

The consultations take place in a consultation room next to the Centre for Auto-dialysis (CAD) in az West Veurne.
