Perforated eardrum repair or myringoplasty

Myringoplasty is a procedure to repair a perforation in the eardrum. Procedures can be performed in a number of ways. We repair the eardrum with your own tissue, such as fascia (a membrane covering the muscle above the ear), perichondrium (of the auricle or ear canal) or cartilage (of the auricle or ear canal).
