Cheekbone fractures

The cheekbone is one of the most prominent parts of your face and are therefore often involved in fractures. Cheekbones not only determine the symmetry and shape of your face, but are also part of the eye socket. Fractures of the cheekbone which are substantially displaced or consist of several parts must therefore be treated surgically. If not, you may experience permanent functional impairment such as double vision, limited mouth opening, or your face may be permanently deformed.

The doctor will discuss the treatment options with you in detail.
