Who for?

What?

The Infectious Diseases department treats patients with fever or inflammation of unclear origin, those with difficult infections, referred patients or those with chronic infections such as HIV or TB. The department is therefore well placed to detect the cause of conditions that cannot immediately be identified or that affect several organs or the entire body at the same time, and finding the right treatment for these ailments. The activities of the department take place at:

Consultation and hospitalisation are preferably on referral by the general practitioner or another specialist. For efficient care, we always ask you to bring the letter from the referring doctor and the results of previous tests (all available reports).

Also take a look at the Internal Diseases website.

Take a look at our page on patient associations to find out where to go for your specific condition.
