Our urology department has 4 urologists with different subspecialties::

• Dr. M. Beysens: general urology, kidney stone pathology, endourology, laser surgery of the prostate (HoLEP)
• Dr. D. Develtere: special expertise in general urology, paediatric urology, robotic surgery (prostate) and brachytherapy
• Dr. M. Van Hattem
• Dr. A. Verbrugghe: general urology, kidney stone surgery, robotic surgery, female and functional urology, benign and malignant renal pathology

The urologists at the JYZ perform the latest techniques including neuromodulation, HoLEP, robot-assisted prostatectomy and robot-assisted partial nephrectomy.
