Nerve entrapment in groove at the elbow (ulnar nerve entrapment)

When this nerve becomes trapped in the groove at the elbow (cubital sulcus), complaints can occur such as tingling or reduced sensitivity at the little finger and ring finger, as well as loss of strength in the hand.

The ulnar nerve runs along the inside of the elbow; it provides sensitivity to the little finger and part of the ring finger. Additionally, the small hand muscles are also controlled by this nerve.
