First-Line Psychology Convention (FLP)

At Jan Yperman Hospital, psychologists work under the First-Line Psychological Care convention. This allows us to offer short-term counselling for €11 (or €4 with increased allowance) per individual session. The price of a group session is €2.5.

Who is eligible?

Adults (+18):

• People trying to conceive, pregnant women and young parents
• Informal carers
• Healthcare providers
• People with long-term physical conditions
• People with long covid
• People in mourning
• People with an alcohol problem

Children and adolescents (-23)

• First-line problems including a limited resilience, bullying, self-image, self-confidence, social skills, somatic complaints, grief, stress, regulation, etc.
