Female:
- physical examination: your doctor checks your height, weight, blood pressure and body hair;
- blood sample;
- vaginal examinations, where the doctor looks and feels for irregularities in the vagina.
If there are any symptoms of an infection or you have ever had an infection, a Pap smear and STI test is carried out.
Male:
- Clinical tests
- Sperm analysis (with minimum 2 sperm samples).
- Blood test including determination of hormones and screening for hereditary conditions
- Ultrasound of the genitals
