Inhabitants of Poperinge and the surrounding areas do not always have to travel to the Jan Yperman Hospital in Ypres for an examination or a consultation.
Anyone coming for a consultation at ‘Poperinge Poli’ will notice that the JYZ outpatient clinic has undergone a real metamorphosis. All activities of the outpatient clinic have been joined on the ground floor after a thorough renovation.
Some 30 specialists hold consultations and perform examinations at the outpatient clinic. General practitioners can also refer their patients there for medical imaging, blood tests or scans, bone densitometry, mammography and colonoscopy.
Besides, Poperinge outpatient clinic also has a room for minor surgeries under local anaesthetic.
