Practical information

Please register first using your eID

For every appointment at the Outpatient Clinic Poperinge, always scan your electronic identity card (eID, ISI+ card or Kids-ID) at the kiosk at the reception desk.

This is important for your hospital invoice*. The reimbursement by your health insurance fund is deducted immediately, so you only pay the personal contribution (co-payment).

*The Belgian National Institute for Health and Disability Insurance (RIZIV) stipulates that every patient is legally required to scan their eID at each hospital visit.

How to register?

  1. Insert your eID (identity card) into the kiosk.
  2. Follow the instructions on the screen.
  3. Take your patient labels from the kiosk. At the top, you will see which route to follow.
  4. Check the “medical services” board in the entrance hall to find the waiting area for your doctor.

  • By car

    Coming from the A19:

    • Follow the A19 to the end.
    • Continue along the North Ring Road to the end.
    • Turn right at the traffic lights.
    • Go straight ahead at the roundabout.
    • You will see the campus on your right-hand side.

    Poli Poperinge is easily accessible by De Lijn buses on both weekdays and weekends. There is a bus stop close to the entrance of the outpatient clinic (stop: Poperinge Oostlaan).
